ETI Board Nominations

Nominations are now open for the following vacancies on the 2025/2026 ETI Board:

4 x Board Members for a 3-year term

Nominations, which must be in writing and comply with the registered rules of the organisation, may be made at any time from Tuesday 26 August 2025. They must reach the ETI Ltd email inbox or postal address no later than 12 noon AWST on Tuesday 16 September 2025.

Nominations cannot be withdrawn after 12:00 Noon (AWST) Tuesday 16 September 2025.

A completed Candidate Statement must accompany your Nomination Form.

Position requirements

Board members are required to:

Commit to the position for the specified period (three years)
Commit to 10-12 hours of time per month
Read all board meeting material prior to each monthly board meeting
Attend a minimum of 8 of the 11 annual board meetings
Represent ETI Ltd at stakeholder awards and events
Complete the Company Directors and Finance for Not-for-profits courses through the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). This will take approximately seven days and must be completed within six months of joining the board.

Desirable Skills, Experience and Attributes of Directors

When nominating and electing Member Elected Directors, members are encouraged to consider the skills and experience that will best support the Organisation’s strategy and ensure strong governance.

These include:

Knowledge of, and experience in, the needs and future development of the Industry.
Experience and qualifications in Industry training and skills development.
Business, professional, financial, and governance expertise.
Experience in not-for-profit, charitable, or community organisation governance.
A diversity of backgrounds, experience, and perspectives.

Please note: The ballot, if required, will be run electronically via a microsite run by ETI Ltd. The ballot, if required, will open on Tuesday 30 September 2025 and close at 10:00am (AWST) Tuesday 21 October 2025.
